Hi, I am a teacher focusing on ecology and was wondering if there is any way to purchase empty reptile eggs (already hatched). I'd like to do a project comparing different egg shapes, textures, pathology of etc. including birds, various reptiles and fish. Could you tell me if it is possible to purchase the empty eggs of any of your reptiles? The cost etc.? Thank you so much for your assistance.

Sandy

Hi. What school and where are you located? I believe I still have 1 or 2 caiman eggs.

I always figured I’d get more, but we’ve not had the animals we need, to breed them, so I didn’t keep a great many of them.

If the kids are at all interested, I will be featured on “Reptile Radio” as an “expert in his field” for my work with caiman, on January 29th at 11 pm CST and any time after the 30th On Demand.

I will be mailing the package out tomorrow.

In the meantime, thought you and your class might be interested, I will be hosting a once a week, weekday, daytime, half hour call in, online radio show called, “Live – with the CaimanHunter” starting this Wednesday, on BlogTalkRadio:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/bam-the-caimanhunter/2011/02/02/live--with-the-caimanhunter

And I will try to give a “shout out” to your kids during the show.

The above URL is for listening, I think – it might just be the link for (the entire blogtalkradio station), since I’m new to this; and the number to call in with questions is: (818) 369-1429
