Our Trip to the UT/JJ Pickle Research Campus
Paleantology Lab

We were invited to visit the Paleantology Lab at the JJ Pickle Research Campus of the University of Texas.  We took the morning off and met our host outside the lab.  "We showed him ours and he showed us his!"

We brought Big Boy with us, along with the skulls of some dead spectacled caiman we had and a dead egg from our first clutch.  We gave the egg to our host as a "thank you".

Our host then showed us some really cool fossils.  We took about a dozen or more pictures, but the following were some of our favorites, for obvious reasons.

We'd like to thank all the paleantologists at Pickle for their hospitality.  Make sure to visit their museum.
